Wild Journey : Terms and Conditions




Booking and payment

Your booking will become definite when we receive your completed booking form and 25% deposit. The deposit may be paid by cheque or bank transfer (we do not currently have a facility for card payments). The final balance of the course cost is payable eight weeks before the start date of the voyage.


Cancellation by You

If you cancel your booking within 14 days of paying your deposit and more than 8 weeks before the start of the voyage we will make a full refund less £50 per pair administrative charge. If you cancel more than 14 days after receipt of your deposit but more than 8 weeks before the voyage we will refund 50% less £50 per pair administrative charge. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the voyage you will forfeit the whole fee. In cases where you forfeit all or part of your fee we will try to re-sell the places and if successful we will refund your lost fee less £50 per pair administrative charge.


Cancellation by Us

In the very unlikely event that we are forced to cancel a voyage we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative vessel or date but failing that we will give a full refund. This is limited to the fee paid and we advise you to take out insurance against any additional loss which might be incurred.


Participation and Safety

By booking a place on this adventure you are agreeing to participate fully in crewing the vessel and to accept instructions given by the skipper and crew. In such matters as navigation, safety, ports and anchorages visited and activities undertaken the skipper is responsible for making the final decision. In the unlikley event that any participant becomes seriously unwell or behaves in a way which compromises safety the skipper may at his discretion put them ashore.


The vessel is fully insured against third party liabilities resulting from any potential negligence on our part but we strongly recommend you take out travel insurance (suitable for sailing more than 12 miles offshore, we can recommend that you try Campbell Irvine insurance to cover any accident and medical costs, loss or damage to personal possessions and voyage cancellation.
